This concert welcomes pianist Orli Shaham returning for her 6th PMF performance, having most recently appeared in 2002 in the Martinu Concerto for Two String Orchestras, Piano, and Tympani and Bernstein's Symphony No. 2, The Age of Anxiety. The first three works on the program have not been previously heard at the Festival. Copland's Lincoln Portrait was first performed at the festival in 1980 and most recently in 2000 with William Warfield narrator.
